Happy Balloon Orange Fruitbox

Did you remember the Happy Baloon bento box I got the last time? The double tiered in Pink? Well, I am just crazy about these collections and I got the orange box now. This one I got is square with a transparent cover. It is single deck and is suitable for snacks like biscuits and fruits. It is never enough to carry a bento box even though it is a double tiered one I had. I guess that means I am eating more? Well, fruits are ok. Just remember to add more vegetable to your main bento so that you can have a big container of fruits in this square box!

Cute right? They do come in other colours like Pink and Blue, besides Orange.

Bear Bake Mould

I thought I should share with you this mould that I received lately. It is the shape of a bear and no, it is not for sushi but more for baking purpose. You can use it to make your little pancakes to be shaped like bear! Is it a koala bear or a panda bear? I'm not sure although my kids asked me that question. Ha ha ha... but they are really cute. I am thinking of trying to make a bear shaped cake from this soon too. Like it?

It is not very big but great for kids' size.

3 Colour Square Silicon Mould/Dish

Like Jelly in many various silicon moulds? The recent bought is the square shaped silicon dish. It has a little animal indented shaped at the base of the dish so if you are making jelly, this should turn out well. When you jelly has set, you get to turn the jelly over and see a surprise animal shape at the top of the jelly!

What I like about this mould is that after the jelly has set firmed, you can add another colour on that dented part to get a different colour for the animal on top. I might just do one to let you have a look. Look out for it, ya.

Cinnamoroll Cup

Cinnamoroll.. I love these cute dogs so much! Never get enough of them. I bought this cute cup quite a while ago but was busy and didn't post it at all. Now I have almost a big collection of Cinamoroll merchandise and I'm loving it! I saw this big Cinnamoroll cushion that I wanted to get online but it was so big.. I figured the cost for postage will be more expensive than the product itself! Then again, maybe I will consider...

So when I have the time, I will certainly take a full complete picture to post it here. In the meantime, just enjoy my postings for my individual collections!

Cheerios!

Silicon Dish Cup, Penguin and Pig

Okay, I know you've seen these before. I got several of these cute moulds again because somehow all my bento accessories are always so popular with Moms in parties that I ended up giving them away. I've been giving lots of food stuff and I just enjoy seeing the faces light up. My children are jelly lovers so whenever I make jelly, I'll definitely use these mould to 'shape up' the jelly. They are just too cute and adorable. Some of my friends have asked me to help them get the piggy ones for their children's bento collection. How can I refuse right?

I am just as delighted going shopping for these things. Just last week, i sent of about half a dozen of various moulds to a girl in Australia. She's all excited and should be receiving it soon!

I'm Missing These Picks

I featured this food pick sometime last year. Then I gave many of them away in a kids' party as prizes for games. I had left few sets and on the recent birthday party of my niece, I used them as fruit picks.. Delighted kids and parents oohed and aahed over them and many of them asked to bring home after eating the fruits. Of course I agreed. Now I'm missing these cute picsk and started to buy new sets once more..

Aah the joy of seeing mom's faces light up when they see the cute accessories. I think moms are like kids born again because chances are you'll see them with many cute accessories when they go out because of their kids' influence!

Pink Cellulose Sponge

My friend was asking me where did I get so many cute stuffs from. It is not easy to get some of these stuffs like Bento boxes and accessories here. I told her I usually get them from a friend who sends it to me as requested. I form a little Mom's group who shares this interest of Japanese Kawaii items and we buy these stuff for our young children and other children. Among the latest things I have around the house that got my friend exclaimed, Oh! Even your dishwashing sponge is just so Kawaii..., is the pink sponge my friend got for me, in pink and is made from a biodegradable material. It is so soft and you can cut them into smaller sponge size too. The absorption power is good and it never scratches my precious pots and pans.

White Onigri Box Bento

I love Onigri of all sizes. Have you ever had one big Onigri that couldn't fit proper in your mini bento box? And what if you decided not to bring a big one with you due to lack of space in your handbag? Well this Onigri box is just right for a large single onigri, moulded into the box and kept init till it's time for meal break. Great idea, right? You can of course also store small bite size ones too but do you know that what makes this container special? It is a mould itself. That means you stuff your sushi rice into it with your fillings and just close the box to mould it. And you can leave it inside as it comes attached with a cover. It is neat and handy.

Oh must I say, you can use it as a small snack box too. Genious!

Two Hearts Silicon Mould

Everyone is using silicon now. Because it is reusable and can withstand heat. I pop it in the oven for baking and I also use it for the bento. Nowadays you can get all sorts of silicon, from trays, muffin cups, jelly moulds, cake moulds and even ice lolly maker. When I think of silicon, I can't help thinking about baby's teats. Because they are also used in then baby bottles and safe for the baby, I never have any reservation in using them, unless you do not know the source of your product.

Anyway, here are the latest silicon that I got a week ago. They come in twos, the shape of hearts. I intend to use it for a heart shaped cake for my daughter's birthday.

Disney Princess Bento Box Two Tier

Surprisingly I found this at a kids' fair yesterday. I have been looking for Disney Bento box for quite some time and I was very happy finding this. My friend who sends me quite a lot of cute stuff says some of these cost more than the Japanese ones and the freight cost quite a bit. This one is wonderful because it comes with a cutlery set - chopsticks, fork and spoon and also a bento belt, plain but pink. Pink is always kawaii to me. Do you like Disney stuff? I hope to go to Japan in the next year, hopefully to visit Tokyo Disneyland!

Cinnamoroll Lunch Box and Cutlery

A gift came in the post today. My friend sent me a cute Cinnamoroll plastic ware and a matching fork and spoon. Thanks, Dear! She knows I'm such a fan of Cinnamoroll and I'm just delightful to receive this cute gift from her.

This is similar to the other box that I have which is a Hello Kitty one. I love small wares like these because you can sneak some light snacks with such little wares. I intend to put some little cookies for my little girl when she goes to school on Monday. Of course she doesn't need cutlery with it. These would be handy for some small sushis too.

Aahh the convenience of lunch and snack boxes... Makes life worth living... lol

Cinnamoroll Luggage Tags

Cinnamoroll cannot resist accessories. We love to collect everything and anything there is of our favourite character, of course. And that includes luggage tags! I've got Hello Kitty tags in my carry luggage but I do not have the Cinnamoroll ones yet. But now I do. This one comes in a pair, blue and pink. I'm going to use it not for luggage but perhaps on a small weekend bag that I used for my weekend activity like to the sports hall. These tags are just cool It has a shimmering effect on the tags where the puppy dog is, so it's not in boring opaque white.

Kawaii and cool. I'm going to send this to my best friend in Australia. She loves Cinnamoroll too.

Cinamoroll Water Bottle

Cinnamoroll is my all time new favourite Kawaii character. I am just so crazy about the cute puppy dog! I used to have a water bottle like these but of Hello Kitty and it was the 'talk of the town' in the office! It was so cute that everyone asked where I got it for and I didn't want to tell them. Because I wanted to give each of them one as a Christmas Present!

Then when I saw this one I just couldn't help myself. I have to get it of course. I love this water bottle because it has a cup and the bottle has a secured turn cap. It's great for kids and perfect to share your drinks. Pour a cup of water or juice for a friend.

So, do you like this. I sure do. It doesn't matter if it is smaller than most tumblers. It fits in my bag and especially light so I don't need to carry a large heavy water bottle. Perfect.

Pink Balloon Bento Box Double Deck

I love Bento Box that comes in double decks. They allow me put the 4s and 3s in one and the 2s and 1s in another layer. Well if you have been Bento-ing, you probably know that the 4-3-2-1 means the food that is basically made up of 4 parts carbo, 3 parts veg, 2 parts meat and 1 part sweets/dessert/fruits. Otherwise sometimes I put the dessert in its own dessert box which is normally smaller than the main bento box.

The balloon design bento box and accessories has been around for a while and I have more than one set. Because I like them all in different colours and sizes, I cannot help but buy all of them. You can never have too many bento boxes! It's always nice to match according to your mood, occasion and gender, be it you are packing for yourself or others.

Pink Balloon Bento Box, I like. Kawaii!

Antibacterial Sheets

I know some of you worry about the bacteria in your foods when you bring lunch in a box. Yes, if you do not prepare your food and let it cool proper, the bacterial tends to multiply in a moist, high protein and warm place. It is recommended to cool your food items with ice packs (for foods that are in room temperature) so that it does not get too warm for bacteria to 'breed'.

Another way is also to place a sheet of antibacterial paper in your lunch box. A pack of these has enough to last you more than a month or two as each pack has 66 sheets. Place it on the top part of your food before closing it. It helps to delay bacterial growth.

If you are going to be eating food from lunch box that is more than 3 hours, it is best to use ice packs or antibacterial sheets.
