Pink Cellulose Sponge

My friend was asking me where did I get so many cute stuffs from. It is not easy to get some of these stuffs like Bento boxes and accessories here. I told her I usually get them from a friend who sends it to me as requested. I form a little Mom's group who shares this interest of Japanese Kawaii items and we buy these stuff for our young children and other children. Among the latest things I have around the house that got my friend exclaimed, Oh! Even your dishwashing sponge is just so Kawaii..., is the pink sponge my friend got for me, in pink and is made from a biodegradable material. It is so soft and you can cut them into smaller sponge size too. The absorption power is good and it never scratches my precious pots and pans.

Antibacterial Sheets

I know some of you worry about the bacteria in your foods when you bring lunch in a box. Yes, if you do not prepare your food and let it cool proper, the bacterial tends to multiply in a moist, high protein and warm place. It is recommended to cool your food items with ice packs (for foods that are in room temperature) so that it does not get too warm for bacteria to 'breed'.

Another way is also to place a sheet of antibacterial paper in your lunch box. A pack of these has enough to last you more than a month or two as each pack has 66 sheets. Place it on the top part of your food before closing it. It helps to delay bacterial growth.

If you are going to be eating food from lunch box that is more than 3 hours, it is best to use ice packs or antibacterial sheets.

Charcoal Can Deodorize

Nothing so kawaii about smelly shoe cupboards and the stench of stale wardrobe. How about that horrible 'fridgey' smell when you open a shared fridge? Perhaps you can indirectly give a gift of a fridge charcoal for someone this X'mas. Claims that Charcoal helps to deodorize smell, they now come in many types for our homes.

No Kawaii sharing this time but I want to let you in how useful these stuff is. It works for me. But not that fast. For my horrible shoe cupboard, I used double action of container type. I placed one drawer sachet for the wardrobe but my wardrobe already has a sweet smelling softener smell so it didn't really matter. I bought one for under the sink cabinet, one for my fridge but haven't used. And I bought a pack for my orchids. They have charcoal in coarser pieces for your potty plants. And they are Bamboo Charcoal not just any other charcoal you buy for your old fashion stove cooking or barbecue.
